Since 1990, we have been working on collecting Blackthorn Plum seedlings and planting them in our family’s farms located in the Yabroud area of the Damascus countryside. We focus on highlighting the importance of this shrub and the benefits of its fruits to protect it from extinction.

Since 2015, we have begun producing Blackthorn Plum paste from its fruits with the goal of financing these endeavors.
